ANANTA MEDICARE PARTICIPATED IN THE SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL SEMINAR "MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO THE TREATMENT OF INTERNAL DISEASES"

On February 27, 2019, a scientific and practical seminar “Multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of internal diseases” was held in the teleconference format. The seminar took place in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryviy Rih and Zaporizhia. The seminar was attended by doctors of different specialties, such as general practitioners (therapists, family doctors), gastroenterologists, cardiologists, pediatricians and others.

At the seminar a report with the results of a clinical study on Lactofor^® “Current approaches to the management of patients with constipation syndrome” was presented. Skrypnik Igor Nikolaevich (MD, Professor, Vice-Rector for scientific and pedagogical work and postgraduate education, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine No.1 of the University, UMSA, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, President of the Ukrainian Gastroenterological Association) was a speaker.

The report has shown modern approaches to the diagnosis and correction of obstipation syndrome (constipation) in patients with functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (according to the latest Roman criteria IV). In particular, Igor Nikolayevich emphasized on the fact that constipation is a multifaceted problem that includes not only a reduced frequency of defecation, but a complex of different disorders, such as:

• - intestinal microbiocenosis disorder;
• - body intoxication;
• - slow absorption and reduced vitamins synthesis;
• - low local and general immunity.

Therefore, the purpose of modern constipation treatment is the normalization of defecation in humans in accordance with the physiological rhythm, as well as the elimination of manifestations that accompany constipation and worse the quality of life of patients.
